For those that are interested, here is 20 minute video on Iqaluit and Inuvik in Nunavut. Iqaluit is above the tree lines therefore ice and snow, While in Inuvik you are located within the tree lines. Nunavut as a whole is bigger than Mexico, just to put things in perpecttive It will give you a better understanding on where I call Home now.

Sur une île de roches, non loin du cercle polaire, ils sont débarqués dans un élan similaire : partir pour tenter de recommencer. Le Grand Nord fut d’abord une porte de sortie, puis devint bientôt un endroit difficile à quitter. Ici, les existences sont en jachère. Ici, on fait son temps.

Peu importe leur vie d’avant, ils sont maintenant chauffeurs de taxi dans cette ville isolée de l’Arctique. Seuls au volant de leur voiture, ils sillonnent, tournent littéralement en rond, jour et nuit. Un Tetris perpétuel sur ce qu’on appelle le « ring road » : une boucle asphaltée d’une dizaine de kilomètres. Même si les heures de travail sont longues et redondantes, ils ont tout le temps pour penser à cette vie qui les attend dans le sud du pays.
