Day 2

Day 2. First day of work. We are not in Kansas anymore .....Exhausted :s. but good, Iqaluit is quite a particular town. I couldn't sleep with this 20 hours of daylight and 4 hours of darkness so I went for a walk . Note to self buy black garbage bags to hide window. The sun sets a 11 pm and rises at 3 am. The followings pictures were taken around 11 pm. To my surprise I was greeted by a friendly couple from Nova Scotia. 2 things are very apparent in Iqaluit, either you are approach by the Inuits who want to sell you Arctic Char or arts and crafts or you greeted by the so call "southerners" and say Hi to each other and then instantly start a conversation with strangers, it's weird but yet humbling. Looking forward to discovery what else Iqaluit has to offer.
