Season 3 Episode 1-4
It's been a long time since my last blog. In a nutshell February was very cold around -55, despite the cold it would get lighter by 7 minutes everyday, When February ended.
It was the start of the "Blizzard season" from which it starts from March until May. Fortunately this year it was too cold for Blizzard conditions. March was around -40.

April was between -20 - -30. Despite the cold it would get lighter and sunnier every day. In April there are activities to do, such as Dog Sledding and "Toonik Tyme" Festival. For a southerner "Toonik Tyme " Festival is an annual celebration of Inuit traditions and return to spring.
Early May was cold around -15 but eventually it got warmer to a +2. The snow melted in the city but not in the mountains.
Currently we are in June warm during the day but windy and chilly at night. June is also known for Bonfire nights. My biggest struggle now is the 20 hours of daylight and 4 hours of darkness. I'm not complaining but it's simply messing my internal clock. Right now the city of Iqaluit is waiting for the Ocean to unfreeze and have the Ships entering the port and Sealift season will start. Thousands of cargo entering the port by Ships,
Tomorrow will be the first day of Summer and the longest day of light. Apparently the Sun doesn't set, we will see......
Despite the ups and downs living in the Arctic and the future of the Hotel and the restaurant. I am forever grateful in this Arctic Adventure. I haven't found all the answers that I was looking for but surely I am A better Person for it.
